YouTube: 30 Second Voice Lesson CompBLEGHation 2

While the end goal is always to find your voice, a theme that is reiterated again and again throughout our EVI Now program, one of the basic ways we pick up learning new sounds is through emulation. Our 30 Second Voice Lessons series was created for those who don't do well listening to descriptions of what is supposed to be happening, but just by DOING it.

YouTube Lesson: 6 common songwriting mistakes metal vocalists make

Sitting down to write your own material can be HARD. We will preface this video by saying that there are NO RULES to writing vocals and lyrics just as there are NO RULES to writing music, merely suggestions and guidelines. In this video, David talks about six of the most common things that he discusses with students when they ask him about writing or to review songs for them.
